The word, Psychiatry refers to a study and treatment of mental illness. Mental illness according to experts refers to a wide variety of disorders, ranging from those that cause mild distress to those that severally impair a person’s ability to function.
This wide varieties of disorders come in various ways which include:
1. Cognitive Disorders such as delirium and dementia which involve a significant loss of mental functioning characterized by impaired memory and difficulties in such functioning as speaking, abstract thinking and ability to identify familiar objects.

76 OIL WELLS SAGA: Wayas, Ani, others ready for War
Cross River State Elders Consultative Forum has condemned and rejected in its entirety the delisting of Cross River State as an Oil-producing State and the ceding of 76 oil wells to Akwa Ibom State .
This was contained in a 13 point communiqué presented at the end of its meeting on Tuesday in Calabar which was signed by all the members including Dr. Joseph Wayas, Etubom Anthony Ani and Chief Dr. Matthew Mbu, emphasizing that the action of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the National Boundary Commission is capable of disrupting peace, not only of the two neighbouring States, but the nation at large. A popular Television/Radio presenter in Akwa Ibom and Chief Executive Officer of World Win Media, Hon. (Pastor) Michael Mbaba Bush may relocate from Akwa Ibom State following the recent kidnapping and subsequent release of his wife, Mrs. Nneka-Irene Bush.
Mrs. Bush, an SSS official who was kidnapped on July 4, 2009 and remained under the custody of the hoodlum for five fulldays was finally released on the eve of Thursday July 9, 2009 after an undisclosed amount given to then for ransom. It is our sincere opinion that “military option” is not the correct approach to solve the Niger Delta crises. Although the Federal Government may have been driven to the wall by resolute resistance, the military option is not the proper route for the government to show its might since this is not a military government. We write this out of concern because communities and villages have become battle fields in which innocent lives have been wasted between cross fires of the military and militant groups.
