Century Newsfront Boss Set to Sensitize Youths

 The publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Century Newsfront Newspapers, Evangelist Saviour Ekpe JP, is one of the key personalities to present a speech to sensitize youths in Itu Local Government Area studying in University of Uyo with the view to inculcating in them the spirit of industry.

The programme which is tagged “my world” is scheduled to hold on 18 June, 2010 at Law Hall Annex of University of Uyo by 11am prompt.

The one day programme is billed to make the students who have lost hope in life as well as those who  are weak to understand  the purpose of their creation and to motivate them to make good use of every opportunity that come their way.

In an invitation jointly signed by Miss Itu Local Government Area of University of Uyo, Miss Emembong Nsubong and the programme manager, Comrade Bassey Bassey indicates that the programme is targeted at the youths in the Tertiary and that it will go a long way in changing the mentality of ‘I can not make it’ syndrome that is common among youths.

They also added that the society is in need of a group of honest youths that will help in promoting the image of the state which calls for the reorientation of youths to embrace the core moral valves of the land with the view to making a better future.

According to them, “it is of the truth that our society needs a group of honest youths who will help promote the image of our sovereign state.  For this reason, we have proposed on awareness seminar on campus/ fund raising programme aimed at reinventing our core moral values and also helping our youths to understand the purpose of their creation”.

Furthermore, the coordinators have called on the support of every individual for the effectives of the life changing programme they are embarking on to ensure that the mind set of the youths are in order with the acceptable standard in the state.
